These are some of the actions that chef Andrés Torres has carried out in different countries.
Barcelona. Barcelona. We lived a day that will remind us of the true power of cooking. The chefs Andrés Torres, from Casa Nova Restaurant, @iris_jordan_martin, from @restauranteansils and @brunojordanmartin, have combined their talent and sensitivity to create an exclusive tasting menu in the spirit of the Michelin star, designed to bring illusion, flavor and emotion to the oncology patients of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona.
Valencia. Tras las inundaciones provocadas por la DANA nos desplazamos a la zona para distribuir agua y productos básicos entre la población afectada: productos de higiene, herramientas, agua, guantes o botas, en colaboración con vecinos y autoridades locales.
Lebanon. On October 1, 2024, we will travel to Beirut to coordinate and deliver food to hundreds of families displaced by the Israeli army’s attacks in the south of the country.
Gaza. Ante la emergencia sin precedentes en Gaza, con el 96% de la población al borde de la hambruna, el 6 de octubre de 2024 lanzamos 30 toneladas de alimentos y medicinas en la zona de Jan Yunis.
Ukraine. We have travelled to the area and have already made several deliveries of food and basic products, as well as donated a medical ambulance, 143 mattresses, an electric generator, the creation of a school shelter, and warm clothing.
Morocco. A 6.8 magnitude earthquake caused many deaths and injuries in the most isolated and impoverished rural areas of the Atlas. We went to the area to deliver emergency aid: food rations, water and hygiene products.
Syria. The life of the Syrian population has been severely affected by a civil war that began in 2011, coupled with the earthquake that hit the country in 2023. We have delivered basic products to several schools.
