Chef's Actions
These are some of the actions that chef Andrés Torres has carried out in different countries.
Valencia. Following the floods caused by the DANA, we went to the area to distribute water and basic products among the affected population: hygiene products, tools, water, gloves or boots, in collaboration with neighbors and local authorities.
Lebanon. On October 1, 2024, we will travel to Beirut to coordinate and deliver food to hundreds of families displaced by the Israeli army’s attacks in the south of the country.
Gaza. Faced with the unprecedented emergency in Gaza, with 96% of the population on the brink of famine, on 6 October 2024 we dropped 30 tonnes of food and medicine in the Jan Yunis area.
Ukraine. We have travelled to the area and have already made several deliveries of food and basic products, as well as donated a medical ambulance, 143 mattresses, an electric generator, the creation of a school shelter, and warm clothing.
Morocco. A 6.8 magnitude earthquake caused many deaths and injuries in the most isolated and impoverished rural areas of the Atlas. We went to the area to deliver emergency aid: food rations, water and hygiene products.
Syria. The life of the Syrian population has been severely affected by a civil war that began in 2011, coupled with the earthquake that hit the country in 2023. We have delivered basic products to several schools.
